What fun this was ... what a fantastic way to meet new artists and share our work. First of all let me say that my photography skills just suck and they absolutely do not do this piece justice. That being said, here is my finished piece for the bead soup project. I received the lovely focal piece, silver and clasp from my partner and friend Shea. I added the purple pearls and dyed quartz. It really is lovely. Let's try a close-up of the pendant, shall we:
It's perfect, my skills as a photographer -- not so much. Please come back tomorrow --I'm going to have my son take more pictures. Until then, please visit Shea and see better photos of her lovely work.
a bit blurry! but lovely just the same! nice work!
ReplyDeleteI don't think all the blur in the universe could hide the beauty of that pendant! Great job, this is a pretty pretty necklace!
ReplyDeleteI am so with you on photography - I need to sign myself up for some classes. Reagardless, your necklace is beautiful - I love the pendant.

I'll come back tomorrow for a better look, but I like what I see today! I love the colors and especially like how you incorporated the chain and clasp in front for an offset look -- nice design!
ReplyDeleteLovely lovely! Great job. What a pretty pendant you had to work with :-)
ReplyDeleteI like it! Keep at it with the photography - it's sooooo worth it! Concentrate on getting a clear image first - you can clean up everything else later with a photo editing program. Good job!
ReplyDeleteI can hardly wait to see a better picture. But from what I can tell, it's stunning.
ReplyDeletePretty! Thanks for sharing it with us!

ReplyDeleteGreat necklace, I would love to wear it and would go with so much.
ReplyDeleteYou've done a great job with that beautiful pendant!
ReplyDeleteYou will get there with the photos, don't worry! Getting a camera with a good macro setting (usually a little flower symbol on the camera)made all the difference to mine.
Looks good! Love that pendant!
ReplyDeleteI could see myself wearing that all summer
ReplyDeleteLovely necklace, it shows the pendant well. You got the designing and jewelry part down pat, your son will help with the photographs, perfect.
ReplyDeletePhotos Schmotos -- it's easy to see the energy and love you put into this beautiful necklace, Sandi -- I'm so touched that something I made wound up in your gifted hands, and I can't wait to show you what I was able to make with the amazing package you sent me! Sadly, I'm still too intimidated by the infinite possibilities of polymer clay, but I'll get there some day!
ReplyDeleteYou did a beautiful job highlighting the focal!!
ReplyDeletethe photos aren't that bad...I have seen worse! Great design, I love the mixture of techniques...and that focal is fabulous!
